Mount Stewart​

 

Mount Stewart you did not disappoint!! We have had a fantastic day where we travelled back in time.

There were so many things to explore and discover. Mrs Ashfield is so proud of us of how we took on every challenge and adventure. We wrote on tiny slate boards, heard about all the rewards and consequences in a Victorian school. We are very relieved that we go to school in Greenwood!

 

The Carriage was beautiful and so grand, with shiny lanterns and a gold crest. We heard all about the story of Lady Helen and her servant Belle and got to see so many interesting rooms in the house. They even had their own church!

 

Finally, we went out into the garden and played with the old wooden toys. Lots of them were tricky and we had to really concentrate, but we had so much fun.
